Our Volunteers

At BFSC, volunteering are the heartbeat of everything we do. From lacing skates and organizing shows to helping behind the scenes at rehearsals and events, this dedication keeps our programs running smoothly and our community strong. Whether parents, alumni, or skating enthusiasts, our volunteers give their time and energy to help our skaters shine—on and off the ice.

Volunteer Commitment

In order to keep our club thriving, all BFSC families are required to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours/year at least half of which must be completed before January 1st. This requirement can be fulfilled in a large variety ways, from bringing in baked goods to our bake sale and volunteering to take tickets at our club shows, to serving in a larger role as a planner or coordinator! Please note: unfilled hours will be tallied at the end of May. Members will be billed at $20 per unfulfilled hour, due June 1st and payable via EntryEeze.

In lieu of volunteering, families may instead opt to contribute a $300 yearly Volunteer Buy-Out to be submitted at the time of membership- application.
